Galway Race Committee wins 2005 Horse Racing Ireland Contribution to the Industry Award

‘The 2005 Contribution to the Industry award went to Galway Races Committee who have helped to make their festival Ireland’s most consistently successful race meeting of the year, attracting more then 200,000 race goers from Ireland and abroad.

Each year Galway Races continue to create new attendance and betting records. They are about to embark on a new and ambitious plan with a new grand stand in the pipeline for 2007. Their Chairman, Mr. Rooney, accepted their award on the Committee’s behalf.’
