October Festival Meeting

The October Bank Holiday meeting is two-day festival taking place on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th of October, (bank holiday weekend).

The October Meeting offers entertainment, great value for money and excellent racing.

The October Festival is surrounded with great racing, laughter and amusement over a leisurely Bank Holiday Weekend and is acclaimed as a fantastic weekend of fun, entertainment and horse racing.

Monday, October 27th is ‘Family Day’ at the Races, and has a spooky Halloween Theme. A special marquee will be erected to host activities for children of all ages. The marquee will be decorated with full Halloween paraphernalia and decorations. We encourage all children to dress up in their Halloween costumes, parents are welcome to join in the fun too!

Admission Fees for October Festival

Some facilities and services we offer at the October Meeting:

• Tote, on-course bookmakers, SP Shop, bar and restaurant facilities available
• Fourteen high quality races over two days
• Excellent prize money with a guaranteed jackpot each day
• Children under 14 are admitted free of charge
• Free car parking
• Music by the Guinness Jazz Band
• Fantastic race-card draw each day. Prizes are sponsored by Renvyle House Hotel and the Clarion Hotel Sligo and consist of luxury weekend breaks for two people
