Bus Éireann Services:

Bus Éireann will operate a shuttle-bus service between Eyre Square, in Galway’s City Centre, and Ballybrit Racecourse (Galway racecourse) throughout Race Week.

  • Buses will depart at regular intervals from Eyre Square East from 15.00hrs on Monday July 28th, Tuesday 29th July and Friday 1st and will return after the last race.
  • On Wednesday 30th, Thursday 31st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd buses will depart from Eyre Square East from 11.00hrs.

Mini-Bus Coach Hire:

Many coach companies provide coach trips to the Galway Races so check out your local coach operator to see if they are providing this service.


Train:

There is a rail service from all major cities to Galway Ceannt Station with a bus connection to Galway Racecourse.
