Tote Galway Plate

The cheers were loud in the Parade Ring as the winning connections of Bob Lingo celebrated his great win of the thetote.com Galway Plate the feature race of this afternoon.  Ridden by Mark Walsh, trained by Thomas Mullins and owned by J.P. McManus,  Bob Lingo was a very popular winner.  The new Galway Plate was a great highlight of the day.  Designed by Matthew Lynch  the newly designed Galway Plate, was presented by All-Star Galway Hurler Joe Canning.

There werre eight races on the card today with the last one off at 7.10.

Ladies will be getting ready now for the big fashion event of the year, Ladies Day which takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 2nd August.
